Nathewal is a small village near the town of phagwara in theJalandhar district in the Punjab state (India). The nearest villages include Rurkee, Ucha pind, Rurka Kalan, Sunner Khurd, Kahna Dhesian, Sarhali, Dhani Pind and Bundala

History

The village is predominantly overseen by the Kaushal lineage, who are still sought after for advice, including matters of personal, family and business matters. The name of the village originates from Nathuram, an original member of the Kaushalfamily. They have acted as Lambardar (village head) for many generations. The present Lambardar is Mr. Sarvan Rai,

Crops grown in this region include wheat, rice, sugar cane, vegetables, maize and barley.

Introduction About The Village And School

ਨੱਥੇਵਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਛੋਟਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਪਿੰਡ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਫਗਵਾੜਾ ਦੇ ਨਜਦੀਕ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਪੜੋਸ ਵਿਚ ਰੁੜਕੀ ,ਉਚਾ ਪਿੰਡ, ਰੁੜਕਾ ਕਲਾਂ ,ਸੁਨਰਾ ਖੁਰਦ, ਕਾਹਨਾ ਢੇਸੀਆਂ, ਸਰਹਾਲੀ , ਧਨੀ ਪਿੰਡ , ਬੁੰਡਾਲਾ। 

ਪਿੰਡ ਦੇ   ਲੰਬਰਦਾਰ ਸਰਵਣ ਰਾਏ ਅਤੇ  ਰਾਜਨ  ਕੌਸ਼ਲ , ਪਾਲ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਏ  ਪਿੰਡ ਦੇ ਚੌਂਕੀਦਾਰ ਨੇ।
